How long does it take to detail a car?

Car detailing takes a different amount of time each time depending on a few different factors. The size of the vehicle is important. It will take a little longer to detail a minivan compared to a sedan. In general, our Clean Pros will plan for 2 to 4 hours overall time for an Interior and Exterior detail.

How much does mobile car detailing cost?

Prices will vary based on vehicle size and services selected. However, we have very transparent and straightforward pricing. You can see all that on our pricing page at: https://cleanmobiledetailing.com/pricing/

Can you detail my car in bad weather?

Yes, we provide mobile car detailing year-round, but certain weather conditions, like heavy rain or snow, might require rescheduling. Our Clean team will notify you if weather impacts your appointment, and we will work with you to find the best possible time.

What do I need to prepare before the mobile detailer arrives?

All we need is access to your car! Our Clean Vehicles are equipped with everything, including water and power, so you don’t need to provide anything. Just make sure your vehicle is easily accessible and take any personal belongings out.

How do I pay for mobile car detailing services?

At Clean Mobile Detailing, we accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, check, and all major credit cards. There are no upfront payments, you pay upon completion of the service.

Do you offer recurring mobile detailing services?

Yes, we offer recurring detailing services to keep your car looking clean all year round. Join our Clean Car Club for monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly services at discounted rates and priority scheduling. Contact us for more information or if you have any questions.

Can you remove pet hair during the detailing?

Yes, we offer pet hair removal as part of our mobile car detailing service. This add-on ensures that your car is free from pet hair and allergens. You can easily select this option when booking your appointment.

How long will the detailing process take?

The length of time depends on the size of the vehicle and the level of service required. Most mobile detailing jobs take between 2 to 4 hours for a full detail.

Do I need to be present during the detailing service?

No, you don’t have to be present as long as we have access to your vehicle. However, we recommend being available at the end of the detail for a quick walkthrough to ensure you are happy with our clean. If you are not available we can sent you pictures. All details are covered with our Clean Car Guarantee, so if we missed anything, let us know and we will make it right.

How long does a vinyl car wrap last?

Quality vinyl wraps typically last 5–7 years with proper care and can be removed without damaging factory paint. With Clean Wraps in American Fork Utah we offer manufacturer and craftsmanship warranties. In addition, we schedule a complimentary 30 days check up appointment to make sure everything is ok with your vinyl car wrap installation.

Can I choose custom colors or finishes for a car wrap?

Yes. With Clean Wraps you can choose from a matte, gloss, satin, color-shift, textured, or even custom designs. Currently, we have over 220 options to choose from. We will show you samples at our shop.

What areas does a Partial Front PPF package cover?

Partial hood and fenders, full front bumper, headlights, and side mirrors. Other coverage options include Full Front, Track, and Full Vehicle. At Clean Wraps, we can advise you what is best for you based on your needs.

Is PPF clear and self-healing?

Our paint protection films are crystal-clear and self-heal light swirls with heat while protecting from rock chips and staining.

How long does ceramic coating protection last?

Up to 5 years with proper maintenance. It adds gloss, slickness, and chemical/UV resistance. We also include a manufacturer and Clean Wraps craftsmanship warranties.

Do I still need to wax after ceramic coating?

No. Ceramic coating replaces routine waxing and makes regular washes faster and easier.

Does ceramic window tint reduce heat and UV?

Yes! At Clean Wraps in American Fork, our ceramic window tint blocks up to 99% of harmful UV and helps keep interiors cooler with reduced glare.

What tint percentages are available and are they legal in Utah?

We offer multiple Visible Light Transmission options that comply with Utah regulations, including legal visor strips for the windshield. We will never install something that might cause you problems.

What is a chrome delete and what can be wrapped?

At Clean Wraps in American Fork we chrome delete your bright trim, grilles, window surrounds, roof rails, and door handles in matte, gloss, or satin black finishes.

Will chrome delete damage the original chrome?

No. The vinyl protects the surfaces and can be removed later to restore the factory look.

Do you offer warranties on vinyl wraps or coatings?

How should I wash my car after ceramic coating or vinyl wrap?

We recommend hand washing with a pH-neutral soap and microfiber mitt. Avoid automatic car washes. For the first 7 days after installation, do not wash your vehicle at all to allow proper bonding.

What maintenance is required after PPF installation?

PPF is low-maintenance, but we recommend hand washing and using a ceramic top coat every 6–12 months for extended gloss and protection. Avoid pressure washers at sharp angles on edges.

For a $312 interior detail only (with seat shampoo add-on of $50) I expected a little more detail to be done in the detail service. At first glance everything looked good. The carpet and mats look great! The color did get better in the seats, but whatever they use does not remove stains too well, apparently. There was still dust in corners of trim and vents, odometer cover wasn’t touched, and cup holder was neglected. I spend around 16 hrs a day in my truck and a lot of what was done I could do with microfiber towels and some foam picks. Not worth it! **UPDATE** The management at Clean Mobile detailing reached out right after the review was posted and were determined to make it right. They had another technician drive out the next morning and the stain must be made of Kryptonite, but the dusty corners, handles, and cup holders were taken care of! They do want to do right and my initial review may have been too hasty to downgrade them. I upgraded to 4 stars because the rework was done well and super promptly, so customer satisfaction is one of their higher priorities!

The carpets were gross. The cupholders and every surface were just coded with grime. He was able to get it all out! Though you can tell the carpet is not brand new. Honestly, no notes, but since I am a brevity challenged individual here are some more details: Before they came over the vehicle was previously owned by a heavy smoker and the interior felt slick and smelled after a long day baking in the hot summer sun. I got the full interior + de-odorization + headliner package and it smells and feels incredible. Kiron answered all of my questions promptly and was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. 90% of my questions were addressed before I had the chance to bring them up and the other 10% were immediately addressed and validated. They said if any odor comes back in the next week they will follow up and provide a shock treatment as part of the original package. How do I book a car detailing service?

Can you detail my car at my home, office or appartment?

Absolutely! We can detail your car at your home, office, or even your apartment complex as long as there’s a spot to park and space to work. Our Clean Vehicles are fully equipped with water and power, so we don’t need to use your utilities. Just tell us where to show up, and we’ll take care of the rest.

How long does a detail usually take?

Most of our details take between 2 to 4 hours, depending on your vehicle’s size, condition, and any services or add-ons you’ve selected. We take the time to do it right, but we’re efficient too so you’re not stuck waiting all day. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process by text or call.

How often should I detail my vehicle?

We recommend detailing your vehicle every 2 to 3 months, especially here in Utah where dust, sun, and road grime can do real damage over time.

Do I need to be there during the service?

Nope! One of the best parts about working with Clean is how convenient and hassle-free we make the process. As long as we have access to your vehicle, you don’t need to be there while we work. You can go about your day, and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll text or call you with updates and let you know when your car is ready to hit the road looking its best.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We require a credit card to reserve your appointment, but when the service is complete, you’re welcome to pay with a card, cash, or Venmo, whatever’s most convenient for you.
